NASSSA visits BAE Systems Shipyard

The NASSSA Career Development Team enjoyed a tour of BAE Systems shipyard at Osborne, hearing about employment opportunities they can promote with students.

Of particular interest were the values and employability/transferable skills (capabilities) that BAE seek in their potential employees.

BAE Systems currently employ over 5500 people in Australia, with 48% of those in SA. The current shipbuilding project will provide many opportunities for employment here in SA over the next few decades.
